Simit is a very popular Turkish street food made using pekmez (grape molasses) and sesame seeds on hand-stretched dough. Street vendors carry large trays of Simit stacked on top of one and other, roaming busy corners of high streets and stations all around Turkey.
We’ve sourced the best Simit we can find outside of Turkey, part-baked so you can enjoy the fresh crispy crunch of Simit at home. Gently bake for 3-4 minutes at 170 C in a pre-heated fan-assisted oven.
